Dr. Tanushree R. Peters

Dr. Tanushree Rachel Peters (MBBS, DCH, DNB Pediatrics) is a distinguished pediatrician and neonatologist in Siliguri. She served as the secretary of the Siliguri Academy of Pediatrics from December 2020 to 2022 and was a member of the Executive Committee of the West Bengal Academy of Pediatrics during the same period.

Her medical education includes an MBBS and postgraduate training from Gauhati Medical College, followed by pediatric intensive care training in Chennai and a postgraduate course in Pediatric Nutrition from Boston University. Dr. Peters has worked at North Bengal Medical College and is actively involved in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), organizing workshops for healthcare workers.

She is a life member of the National Neonatology Forum and also provides counseling for adolescents with behavioral and academic issues. With numerous publications in national and international journals, Dr. Peters is a dedicated academician and serves as a visiting consultant in several nursing homes in Siliguri.
